About Me

Hi, I am Vanessa! I am a stay-at-home mom of two beautiful girls who recently discovered a passion for the sewing machine and other things crafty.

My love for sewing began when I was forced coerced asked by my sisters-in-law to start quilting with them. To begin what seemed to be a huge, unachievable task, soon became something I fell head-over-heels in love with. Now I am constantly seeking to find that next sewing or crafting project to to tackle!

Here is the first quilt top I put together. It holds a special place in my heart because 1. It’s my first quilt, and 2. All the fabrics came from my mother-in-law’s fabric stash. She passed away 4 years ago of cancer. She was an avid crafter and made several quilts for us and for others. I would say she is my inspiration for many of the things I do. She was a wonderful woman.

I have a great husband who is a wonderful father to our girls. Here we are being goofy. It’s what we do best.

And here’s my beautiful family, all together. Oh, how I love them!
